I received a written notice from one of the credit agencies stating my credit report was requested and access sometime this year which was not my doing. Regardless of the method used to access my information it was breech. My concern is someone access account with Identity Guard, and altered information. to keep me informed about credit inquires, new accounts. How did someone access my account on in their system and they unable to trace? I want answers!!! I'm looking for resolution - I paiding for monitoring service what happen. They could not answer - I was told they didnt have access and nothing could be done. Since this is a breech would they investigation? I was told by customer rep ****** ***********************, ********* that it nothing they could do? Well what about monitoring service? What and why I'm paying monthly? Nor was I or Idenity guard rep was able to view my account due someone making changes (ex- husband and ***** IT REP) in my account as I did in the past. I called to question why I havent receive notification and notice a change in my personal information, such device not own by me - as well as other very personal- detailed informations provided on questionier, I never provided. In hte pass I would get an alert notifing my off any activities as stated, apart of in my monthly subscription. I notice my credit score drop and did not recieve a notification regarding changes to my credit report. I subscribe to service due to my devices being hacked by ex-husband and ***** employee. There was no address on the site just a number *** *** **** On a specific site, I googled the sites and not sure if it means anything but it was a easily reached site, I closed out and signed back into AURA and they had a new alert for another dark web site another site that i was easily able to ****** Can someone please tell me if this is normal practice to ask for user and passwords to your accounts and you give this agency A+ rating ? They should not have any complaints in my opinion to be a A+ rated agency RIGHT? But my instincts said otherwise i see several complaints on this agency /=Well i called them left my number for them to call me back, they never didi, and i called again waited over 20 minutes ! asked for a refund This all happened under an hour I am expecting i will receive the refund back within a few days at most. In addition within minutes of signing up I was told my email was on the dark web. The agent was professional but i consider that to be a red flag, in addition i was asked after paying them the order for them to do what was called "TRANSACTION MONITORING " i had to give them my user id and passwords to all my credit cards and bank accounts! Like i said i have used several credit monitoring in the past ******* and Identity theft, and never been asked passwords or other information to have my accounts monitored. I have used several identity theft monitoring in the past and I have never had problems contacting them or them to me, like i have had with this company on hold > 20minutes. I ordered a subscription to AURA credit identity theft monitoring. I never did receive the tickets for the home opener for the ************ as advertised. She came back and said that a refund will be issued, but I have yet to see that happen (when the first time it occurred fairly quickly). I asked for a supervisor and the lady put me on hold. I called today for the additional $.96 and was met with resistance about a prorated amount and had to fight to get any further. I called the next day for a refund, to which they said they would, but I only received a refund of $13. Well later in the evening/next morning, I looked at my bank account and they had withdrawn the charge for the monthly subscription, after they said they canceled, and they took $13.96 instead of the $13 as the initial email stated. On day 13, I called Aura to question the tickets one last time and to cancel prior to being charged. After multiple contacts to Aura and the ************, no tickets were ever received. After 14 days, the subscription would charge for $13.00 per month. Received an email stating that I would receive free ************ tickets if I signed up for a 14 day free trial to Aura. ![]()
